The first construction project God placed on our hearts was a church. In October of 2010, a team of volunteers from 17 different churches spent two weeks laying block and raising rafters. The work was started and completed by local workers funded through Real Love.  

 

Today the church building is used for events every day. As the ministry grows, so does the church and the need for more space.  A three-story addition to the church was completed in 2026.  It will accommodate children’s ministry, women’s ministry, job and career training, and housing for the Pastor and family. This addition is strictly a “Faith Project," and work is only completed as funds became available. ​

 

The vast majority of those living in Conevisa make their homes in cinderblock shanty’s that can withstand the weather and heat. Sadly though, some are merely living in lean-tos and huts. The church reaches out to the ones in most desperate need of adequate housing.  As God provides the funds, a construction team will go and build a block living structure.  The cost of materials to construct a block home is about $2500.  We also have teams that do simple home improvement projects.
